January 12, 2017 – MHS took on rival Livingston today for the second time this season. Varsity slammed the door on them with a 5-2 win while JV lost 0-7.

Here are the Varsity highlights from the match:

  • Senior Lauren Potechin bowled a high game of 241, a 3-game series of 600, and a 3-game series average of 200.
  • Senior Benji Prashker bowled a high game of 220, a 3-game series of 588, and a 3-game series average of 196.
  • Senior Jack Nirenberg bowled a high game of 214, a 3-game series of 558, and a 3-game series average of 186.
  • Freshman Daniel Sirota bowled a high game of 210, a 2-game series of 364, and a 2-game series average of 182.

Here are the JV highlights from the match:

  • Senior Jonathan Murray bowled a high game of 189, a 3-game series of 458, and a 3-game series average of 151.
  • Senior Anthony Amorosa bowled a high game of 186, a 2-game series of 338, and a 2-game series average of 169.
  • Freshman Matt Norflus bowled a high game of 136, a 2-game series of 230, and a 2-game series average of 128.
  • Sophomore Jared Simons bowled a high game of 135, a 2-game series of 268, and a 2-game series averafe of 134.
  • Senior Lucas Murphy bowled a high game of 134, a 2-game series of 259, and a 2-game series average of 129.
  • Senior Ethan Denenberg bowled one game of 146.

The overall high from MHS was achieved by Lauren Potechin with a 241 in her second game.
